Workmanship Warranty: AxiumNet provides a limited warranty on installation workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of system activation or substantial completion. This covers defects resulting directly from improper installation or labour performed by AxiumNet.
Pre-Existing Infrastructure & Exclusion of Damage: AxiumNet assumes no warranty or liability for any pre-existing wiring, cabling, equipment, or components not directly provided and installed by AxiumNet. Additionally, this warranty does not cover damage resulting from negligence, vandalism, misuse, flood, fire, power surges or fluctuations, lightning, or other natural hazards and acts of nature.
Manufacturer and Vendor Warranties: All software, hardware, devices, cameras, intercoms, alarms, panels, power supplies and system components are covered solely by the individual warranties provided by their respective manufacturers. AxiumNet does not personally warrant any software or hardware. All such items are covered solely by the individual manufacturer's and/or vendor's warranty.
Diagnostic and Labour Fees for Hardware Failures: Manufacturer warranties typically cover only the repair or replacement of the failed physical component. They do NOT cover the cost of labour to troubleshoot, remove, or reinstall the hardware.
a) If a component fails within the first year, the AxiumNet will handle the labour to replace it at no charge.
b) If a component fails after the one-year workmanship warranty has expired, the Client is responsible for paying to AxiumNet the standard service call and hourly labour rates to diagnose the issue, remove the defective part, and install the manufacturer's replacement part.
Shipping, Handling, and Freight Costs: Manufacturer warranties do not cover the cost of transporting hardware. The Client is responsible for the actual shipping, freight, and handling costs required to send the defective equipment back to the manufacturer and to ship the replacement part to AxiumNet. These costs apply regardless of whether the product failure occurs inside or outside of the one-year workmanship warranty period.
Replacement Timelines and Availability: The time required to receive a replacement component is entirely dependent on the manufacturer's current inventory, return processing times, and shipping schedules. Standard warranty processing typically takes between two (2) to four (4) weeks. AxiumNet is not liable for system downtime, security gaps, or delays caused by manufacturer back-orders or supply chain disruptions.
Emergency and After-Hours Calls: Requests for urgent troubleshooting, system overrides, or repairs outside of standard business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday) are considered Emergency Calls. Emergency Calls are subject to a minimum diagnostic fee of plus standard after-hours hourly rates. Emergency labour to replace manufacturer-defective parts is never covered under the standard Workmanship Warranty and will be billed fully to the Client.
Disclaimer of Implied Warranties & Limitation of Liability: AxiumNet makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, including without limitation any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. AxiumNet will not be liable for damages of any kind, including lost or anticipated profits, delay, consequential, or special damages.
